been thinking about this girl a lot
been thinking about this girl a lot
thought the mountains would crumble and the rivers would bend
but I thought all wrong; the world did not end
the maps will just have to stay the same for a while
didn’t even need therapy to rehabilitate my smile
thought I’d cry for you forever
but I couldn’t
so I didn’t
uhhhhh I was just scribbling some dude studies for practice, but then I drew curly hair on one, and it became paisley. older than I usually draw him I guess??
I did not go into this intending to draw naked paisley butts honest
always he holds himself tense, a tight coil ready to spring at need- or command- except that of course there’s none among the oresoren who would command him. nor is there anyone to fear. still, his hands clench and unclench in unconscious rhythm, closing in long formed habit and opening again after finding no well worn hilt under his fingers.
A MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT BABY JAY THE UNSEEN FOR MY DEAREST DARLING WIFE EFFIECAKES because for some reason we still have feelings about this ridiculous game and its ridiculous characters
got really frustrated working on projects, so I took a break and drew hajime *v* I FEEL SOOTHED NOW
wow you guys I enjoyed gatchaman crowds SO MUCH, way more than I was expecting!! woww.. rui… wow hajime… hajime is pretty much the person I want to be ;;
the thing about witchsonas is my witchsona is literally just me. it’s just me + magic. if I were a witch I’d probably work magic with crafts!! with wool and yarn and pins and needles and awls and ink and colors. illustration and storytelling are the things I love doing, but craftmaking is the closest I ever feel to doing real magic *_*
maybe I’d work magic in my dreams too. maybe instead of having lucid dreams I’d actually travel to other worlds and shapeshift and fly and go on adventures with goblins!! wah ;_;
weeps into hands I WANT TO BE A MAGICAL GIRL SO BADLY…
also, for fun, what if Christopher DIDN’T slick back his hair and let it stay curly and free?
There was a gentle rustling as the suspended leaves dropped back to the ground. Where they had been, there was a man standing.
He seemed utterly bewildered. His first act was to put his hands up and smooth his hair, which was a thing that hardly needed doing, since the wind had not disturbed even the merest wisp of it. It was smooth and black and shiny as new tar. Having smoothed his hair, this man rearranged his starched white shirt cuffs and straightened his already straight pale gray cravat. After that, he carefully pulled down his dove-mauve waistcoat and, equally carefully, brushed some imaginary dust off his beautiful dove-gray suit. All the while he was doing this, he was looking from one to the other of the five of them in increasing perplexity. His eyebrows rose higher with everything he saw.
"Would one of you tell me where we are now?" he said
"Just outside Larwood Forest," Nan said. "Hertfordshire."
"In England, the British Isles, the world, the solar system, the Milky Way, the Universe," Brian said scornfully.
"Ah yes," said the man. "But which one?" Brian stared. "I mean," the man said patiently, "do you happen to know which world, galaxy, universe, et cetera? There happen to be infinite numbers of them, and unless I know which this one is, I shall not find it very easy to help you.”

I took a break from the fanbook and did a sketch that got a little out of hand… Christopher Chant, the 9 lifed asshole enchanter of my heart. I’ve always imagined that adult Christopher would look just like he came right out of a Leyendecker painting, like a slightly more old fashioned Arrow Collar Man, so here is a quick attempt at a Leyendecker rip off, haha. This was fun!!
speaking of legendia I ALSO found this unfinished fanart in my old files, from I think 2007??
wow no you guys don’t know what a nostalgia trip this was for me THIS WAS FROM ONE OF MY FIRST INTERACTIONS WITH MY CURRENT WIFE AND BEST FRIEND (inkstrangle!!!) it was my half of a fandom gift exchange but I never finished it, hahaha… I had such a big fandom crush on ink and her fics back then wow. wow wow wow. those were good times.
I was looking through some old files, and I UNEXPECTEDLY FOUND THE VERY FIRST PHOTOSHOP DRAWING I EVER DID. Wow. Wow!!! My history. My childhood! DRAGON LADY OCS.
I was in 7th grade and 12 or 13 when I did this. I’m pretty sure this character’s name was Dawn, although I think she had other unpronounceable ~fantasy names~ too.
