the thing that confuses me about ridiculing trigger warnings and the people who use them is
they’re
not hard to use
and typically they’re really unobtrusive, like in the tags or right at the very beginning of a post, super easy to skip over if you don’t have triggers personally
and even if you think a trigger is frivolous or unimportant, it doesn’t actually hurt you? at all? even a tiny little bit? whereas, no matter how frivolous or unimportant or unharmful it is to you, there is someone else who might be really hurt by it? and they’re. not. hard. to use.
